Choreography and the start of a new semester

It's been a quiet(ish) summer for dance outside of the duet I'm building up to in September. But the start of a new month means that 2 of my classes start up again until Christmas and dance can completely take over my life again.
Why do you look at the floor?

Finding my style

A lot of the people I dance with are girls. In fact; I'd go as far as to say that of the 60 people I dance with during any given week 50 of them are girls at the very least. It has its ups and downs but one of the biggest drawbacks is trying to look to other guys for inspiration when it isn't forthcoming.
Progress Report

Having a conflict of interests is rarely a good thing; especially for me given my short attention span and inability to make decisions. Saying that; my life is very much like one of my old school reports 'Good, but could be better.'
Ambitions

Across my Google Chrome browser I have my favourite websites - Facebook, Twitter, NeoGAF, BBC Sport etc but I also have a couple of folders. One; a random assortment of hilarious images and videos and the other is simply titled 'Ambitions.'
What's not

I follow a lot of blogs and they tend to fall into a couple of categories; professional and personal. Some people post their artwork, photographs, stories and the like, others: their lives; things they do and things they like.
I've always wondered about the latter. This blog could easily be about my "life" - about what I've been doing, who I've met, how I feel and the rest but, given that I don't divulge that information to my friends I shouldn't think I'd do it in any great detail here.
Maybe I'll turn this into a blog like my friend James and post pictures of things I like:
What's been going down

I've been thinking a lot about 'the future.' My future specifically. I'm enjoying writing the occasional review, which is what it is at the moment - but how to do more? There's only so much content you can produce before your diluting your own readership.
A wise man, well some guy via email, once told me to cultivate relationships with talented people; I think I know a bunch of talented and creative people but currently none of us are anywhere, though some of them might resent that assertion. I pondered getting a website, or at least an actual domain name and sprucing up the blog - but what would I put on it?
If only there a deviant art style website for writing - I'm sure there is... somewhere. Google will know.
Even so, putting creative writing online is a dangerous exercise - I don't take photos, though I think I'd be good at it, I don't draw, I don't paint, I don't make music, though I'm sure people have websites who don't produce much themselves.
I need html (or someone to do it for me). backgrounds, art, interesting stuff to say and a community of people to help me force my way upwards. This is a team effort. I'm on the hunt.
Also I wrote a Portal 2 review - here. Though I'm not sure that's enough to get famous.
Hiatus? SHMIATUS!

I've thought a lot over the past few days about what I might like to do with my life... Suffice to say I'm not sure - time is on my side however! 22 years of age as of this post and, with Dragon Age COMPLETE (cue fanfare) I ask myself; what's next?
Hiatus

As you may, or may not, have noticed - the blog has slowed down recently. There's a number of reasons for this - firstly is my involvement with a new blog - http://techflaws2011.blogspot.com/
It's slightly more focused than my ramblings on here - dedicated specifically to news, reviews and the like and has me in a slightly more focused mood on there than here.
Secondly is the fact that, once again, the quest for completion is slowing to a dramatic halt. Since I finished Crysis I have finished The Witcher and... well... that's it. But don't worry - Dragon Age is close. VERY close.
The quest for completion continues.

I finished Crysis and Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light. I feel as though I should be handsomely rewarded for pulling myself away from Football Manager and HoN long enough to do ANYTHING, let alone complete different videogames however - it is done.
Next muffin.
Uh oh...

Safe to say the year hasn't got off to the start that I thought it might, at least in terms of games.
A friend recommended 'Heroes of Newerth' to me and, between that and my regular Football Manager fix, I've got very little else done.
On a related, and positive, note; I uninstalled some games on steam. My thinking? Simple - if I have less games to play, I'll be more likely to ACTUALLY play one of them.
In terms of the games I set out to play though, the story has been less successful. I loaded up Dragon Age only for it to crash instantly and, as such, I lost all interest in re-loading it. Stranger's Wrath is "getting there" and I haven't touched Planescape: Torment. I think my sickness is returning.
In related news I have been invited to contribute to another blog (http://www.reviewpcgames.com/). A few reviews here and there, 'short' ones I've been informed, so my thesis on Bioshock will have to wait for now.
New year

I read an interesting article today about New Year's resolutions - about how instead of taking things away from yourself - giving up smoking/drinking etc - it talked about to add to yourself; to accomplish things, to learn new skills - to become a more diverse and rounded individual.
As such I've decided to do just that and I'm already well on the way - on the third day of the New Year I have completed Crysis. In truth, there's very little to say about it - I enjoyed it, my computer handled it (while struggling on occasion) and it had some good set pieces and amazing graphics.
What this post is for, however, is to highlight the games I want to finish over the coming months and serve as a reminder to me to play less Football Manager and actually finish them:
